It has been said that the Katsina Elders’ Forum’s views do not reflect Northern Nigeria’s position regarding President Bola Tinubu’s reelection in 2027.
Minister of State for Safeguard Bello Matawalle, who revealed this in an explanation on Thursday in Abuja, said that it was off-base for the older folks to offer such expressions.
The former governor of Zamfara stated that the President is committed to providing the security of lives and property that Northern Nigeria requires right now.

He asked the seniors not to shorten the current harmony and concordance between the north and different locales through such proclamations.
