Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, the governor of Katsina State, asserts that the state government maintains friendly working relations with all of the security services present in the state.
When Governor Radda hosted four brave police officers from the state command who received a special award from the Inspector General of Police for their outstanding work in combating insecurity in the state, he gave a clue about this.
The state administration is proud of the commitment and sacrifice made by the security officers, the governor of Katsina noted, adding that they had all been very helpful in the fight against insecurity.
He stated that the State Government is working with them to combat the threat that is hurting both the state and the nation as a whole.
Governor Radda gave them assurances that the state administration would Maintain cooperation and coordination with the security authorities to accomplish the predetermined objectives.
Subsequently, he declared that the four policemen would get a reward of N5.5 million for their exceptional work that led to the Inspector General’s recognition.
He said that N1.5 million will go to the Superintendent, N2 million to the Chief Superintendent, and N1 million to each of the other two Assistant Superintendents of Police.
Prior to this, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, the State Commissioner of Police, announced that they were at the Governor’s Mansion to present the four police officers who had won the Inspector General’s award for their exceptional work combating insecurity in the state.
