Political tensions in Rivers State have reached a boiling point as leaders from Amaewhule, Obio, and Akpor localities gathered today for a solidarity march in support of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike. The march, which began at the Rumueme Civic Center and proceeded along Ikwerre road, saw prominent figures such as Ogundu Chinda, Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Martin Amaewhule, Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, and George Ariolu, former Council Chairman, leading the charge.

The Inspector General of Police has the mandate to restore peace, and we stand behind his efforts,” Ariolu affirmed.
