In a swift response, Minaj clarified that the claims were false, delivering her message with characteristic bluntness. “Ain’t going no mthfkn where. Kiss my a** and hiatus,” she wrote, assuring fans that she’s here to stay.

Minaj has previously taken a break from the music scene. In December 2019, she announced her retirement to focus on starting a family with her husband, Kenneth Petty, just two months after their marriage. The couple welcomed their son on September 30, 2020.
