El-Kanemi Warriors Extend Unbeaten Run with 1-1 Draw Against Kwara United

El-Kanemi Warriors continued their unbeaten streak in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) after a 1-1 draw with Kwara United on Wednesday in Maiduguri.

Kwara United took the lead in the 67th minute through Emmanuel Ogbole, who converted a penalty. However, El-Kanemi Warriors salvaged a point deep into stoppage time, thanks to an equalizer from Risilanu Ismaili.

With this result, El-Kanemi climbed to 5th place in the league standings. Their next fixture will be an away game against Rivers United on Sunday. Meanwhile, Kwara United, currently in 11th position, will host defending champions Rangers in Ilorin on Sunday.

This hard-fought draw reflects El-Kanemi’s resilience as they aim to remain competitive in the NPFL.
