Protest Erupts in Osogbo Over Shooting of Osun Transport Chairman, Alowonle

Tensions flared in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, as residents and stakeholders staged a protest following the shooting of the Chairman of the Osun Transport Management System (OTMS), identified as Alowonle. The incident reportedly occurred under controversial circumstances, prompting widespread outrage and calls for justice.

The protesters, including commercial transport workers, community members, and other concerned individuals, gathered in significant numbers, blocking major roads and demanding accountability. Chanting solidarity songs, they called for a thorough investigation into the incident and the immediate apprehension of those responsible.
