Muslim/Muslim ticket sets tone for Christian/Christian in future- Remi Tinubu

According to Senator Remi Tinubu, the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC’s same-faith presidential ticket has set the stage for a Christian-Christian ticket in the future.

This assertion was made by Tinubu’s wife, Senator Remi, while she was addressing a group of APC South-West Women in Lagos State.

She asserts that the Tinubu/Shettima presidential ticket will restructure Nigeria’s political terrain.

Keep in mind that the Muslim-majority APC joint ticket of Bola Tinubu and former Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima has sparked national outrage, with many accusing the ruling party of being insensitive.

Senator Remi said, “As regards the Muslim/Muslim ticket, this one will set the tone for the future. Sometime in the future, we will have a Christian/Christian ticket.”

“What God has done is marvelous in our land,” she added.
