President Muhammadu Buhari, according to presidential spokesperson Garba Shehu, is above scandal and does not have any bank accounts filled with illicit funds.

On Tuesday’s episode of “Sunrise Daily” on Channels Television, Shehu made this revelation.
The spokesperson for the president stated that Buhari has done well in the battle against corruption.

Shehu claims that Buhari has no accounts with money taken from the government and has no concern for controversy or legal action once he leaves office.

The Presidential spokesperson noted that Buhari has performed well in the fight against corruption.
According to Shehu, Buhari does not operate any account with funds looted from the government nor fear scandal or prosecution after leaving office for such.

“The President is still what he is; he is still above board,” he declared.

“As his spokesperson, I go to bed, I sleep soundly convinced that nobody, whether from Nigeria or outside the country, can call me to say we have discovered this bank account and your boss has these huge millions. That’s not Buhari; he is well above scandal and that is how it will end,” he added.
