The All Progressives Congress appears to be working to resolve the internal party conflict brought on by the newly disclosed zoning plan for the 10th National Assembly leadership.

According to Propolitics, Senators Godswill Akpabio and Jibrin Barau are now meeting with the party’s National Working Committee as part of efforts to settle the continuing impasse.

More than 40 senators, including Senator Godswill Akpabio and Senator Jibrin Barau, are present at the meeting, which is being held at Muhammadu Buhari House and being presided over by Senator Abdullahi Adamu.

Remember that the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other stakeholders were consulted before the APC NWC recently declared the consensus zoning plans for the 10th NASS, according to Propolitics.

However, some irate party members have already voiced their unhappiness over how the APC leadership handled the situation, threatening to disrupt the zoning arrangement.

In response to this development, the NWC met with irate members of both houses last week and pledged to implement the required changes.
