The FRSC has stated that it is prepared to work with the Kano State Police Command to improve road safety and security in order to reduce traffic-related deaths and injuries by 5%.

When Kano State Police Commissioner Mr. Mohammed Usaini-Gumel paid him a courtesy visit, the FRSC Sector Commander Mr. Ibrahim Abdullahi informed him of this.

He said that the collaboration would improve the development of road safety policies, protect citizen lives and property, and increase training, data gathering, analysis, and management capabilities.

Usaini-Gumel, the Commissioner of Police, earlier claimed he went at the FRSC State Headquarters to seek out enhanced synergy and solidify their already friendly relationships.

He stated that the command would police additional traffic infractions, such as the unauthorized use of sirens, in the state.
