Maruf Abdullahi, also known as Trinity Guy, a skit creator, was ordered to remain in the Agodi correctional facility until Tuesday, July 11, when the issue will be brought up for discussion by a Family Court in Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Along with the skit creator, it also charged and remanded Isiaka Ahmed, 40, and his wife Rofiat, 29, who are the victim’s parents, on two counts of conspiracy and sexual abuse and exploitation.

The defendants’ argument that the court lacked jurisdiction was rejected by the magistrate, P.O. Adetuyibi, who noted that a duplicate case file had already been filed at the state ministry of justice in Ibadan.
