On Tuesday, four unnamed people narrowly avoided being killed when a truck carrying containers rammed into a car, a tricycle, and several roadside vendors in the Aswani Market section of the state’s Oshodi-Isolo Local Government section.
According to reports, there was no casualty recorded in the incident.
Four persons, however, were hurt in different ways and were taken right away to the hospital for care.
According to Margaret Adeseye, director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, the accident happened about 10:18 a.m. along Osolo Way in Aswani Market, Isolo Lagos.
According to Adeseye, the Isolo Fire Station reacted after receiving a local emergency call.
She stated, “The accident involved a container trailer, a range rover jeep and a tri-circle all conveying lone occupants, that is, drivers alone with one of the roadside traders rescued unhurt. The truck also destroyed the fence of the market.
“The preliminary cause of the accident was a result of brake failure of the container trailer with all four victims in stable condition as there is no record of death,” Adeseye added.
