BREAKING: Senate begins screening of nominated service chiefs, CDS for confirmation

On Thursday, the Senate started the screening process for the Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Christopher Musa, as well as the Service Chiefs, including the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, the Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshall Hassan Abubakar.

The screening came after President Bola Tinubu sent the Senate the substantive nominations of the CDS and service chiefs on Tuesday.
