Barcelona coach Xavi has extended his concurrence with the Spanish supervisors by one season until June 2025 with the decision of an additional year, the club avowed on Friday.

The previous Barca midfielder, who took over as mentor in 2021, drove the club to their most memorable La Liga title starting around 2019 and the Spanish Super Cup last season.

“We showed up at a troublesome time, in negative conditions,” Xavi told a public interview in front of Saturday’s down against Celta Vigo.
