Reigning champs of the Public Youth Games, Group Delta, and Abia State started the seventh Public Youth Games optimistically, yesterday, winning the principal gold decorations of the opposition holding at the Stephen Keshi Arena, Asaba.

Delta State’s Decency Ogodo won the principal gold decoration from 45kg weightlifting by lifting 44kg not long after the initiation of the opposition.

The Games, which glitzy opening service, was seen by the cream of Nigerian games, including Delta State Lead representative, Sheriff Oborevwori, and Sports Priest, John Owan-Enoh, is highlighting around 4,742 youngsters from the nation over.
