The Nigeria Immigration Service lost several of its staff on the Kano-Zaria Road on Sunday.
The policemen were engaged in an accident on their way back to Abuja from Kano following a Passing-Out-Parade (POP) at the Immigration Training School.
According to reports, two people were killed in the car accident.
The event was confirmed by the service on its official X page.
It went on to say, “Our candles go up while our hearts are heavy.”
According to Labaran Abdullahi, FRSC Public Relations Officer, Kano Sector Command, two officers died on the scene, while seven others were brought to a hospital for treatment.
When the collision occurred, nine cops were in the car, according to him.
