TA 30-year-old driver, Christopher Otimejin, was on Wednesday charged in a Grade 1 Region Court in Kabusa, Abuja, over supposed cheating and break of trust.
The Examiner, C.C. Okafor, had informed the court that Otimejin, an occupant of Shara Home, Abuja, penetrated a business understanding came to with the complainant, Dooshima Kittikaa.
Okafor affirmed that Kittikaa gave her vehicle to the litigant for business use, with the arrangement that he would dispatch N35,000 week after week.
The investigator further let the court know that Otimejin neglected to make the settlements as concurred with the complainant.
“Following three weeks, he just dispatched for about fourteen days, and he would not pay the equilibrium of N35,000,” he said.
The investigator said the protest was documented at the Kabusa Police headquarters, on Jan. 6.
The respondent, nonetheless, argued not blameworthy to the charges.
The Appointed authority, Malam Abubakar Sadiq, conceded the litigant to bail in the amount of N100,000, with one guarantee in like aggregate and afterward dismissed the case until Jan. 23, for additional notice.
