Gelson Dala and Fredy, two Angolans, are cleared to play against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the Palancas Negras quarterfinal.
Due to injuries, Dala and Fredy were unable to finish the team’s Round of 16 triumph over Namibia.
The two players have been cleared by the national team medics to play, according to the Angola Press Agency.
In his four games for the Black Antelopes at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Dala has netted four goals.
The forward is now the league’s second-highest scorer, and Captain Fredy has contributed three assists for Pedro Goncalves’ team.
