Cash App founder, Bob Lee stabbed to death in San Francisco
According to sources, Bob Lee, the creator of the mobile payment app Cash App, was fatally stabbed on Tuesday morning in San Francisco.
San Francisco police received a report of an assault on Lee, 43, around 2:35 a.m. in the city’s downtown Rincon Hill district.
The computer magnate had multiple stab wounds when police arrived.
According to authorities, Lee was brought to a local hospital where he passed away from his wounds.
As of Wednesday morning, no arrests had been made.
Police in San Francisco haven’t disclosed any information on suspects.
The San Francisco Police Department has been contacted by The Post for comment.
According to his LinkedIn page, Lee had been the chief product officer of the San Francisco-based cryptocurrency business MobileCoin since November 2021.
