Champions League: Man City Match Man Utd’s Historic Unbeaten Run with Latest Victory

Manchester City has matched a record previously held by Premier League rivals Manchester United for the longest unbeaten streak in UEFA Champions League history. Pep Guardiola’s side equaled this milestone after a dominant 4-0 win over Slovan Bratislava on Tuesday.

Prior to the game, City were just one match shy of United’s remarkable 25-game unbeaten run, which spanned from 2007 to 2009. With goals from Ilkay Gundogan, Phil Foden, Erling Haaland, and James McAtee, the Premier League champions secured the victory, bringing their current unbeaten streak to 25 games.

City now have a golden opportunity to set a new record when they face Sparta Praha on October 23, as they continue their pursuit of Champions League glory.

This accomplishment places Manchester City among Europe’s elite, further highlighting their dominance on the continental stage under Guardiola’s leadership.
