Mabel Makun, the spouse of renowned comedian Ayo Makun, also known as AY, has expressed concern about an alleged threat to her life.

In an Instagram post, the interior designer stated that she could no longer tolerate the threats and planned to report the incident to the police.

Mabel revealed that the threats to her life had reached a critical point, and that if anything bad happened to her, she would hold a specific person responsible. She did not reveal the person’s identity, but did state that she intended to go to the police station right away.

She wrote, “The threat to my life is actually getting out of control and if anything happens to me, there is only one Person to be held accountable. “Headed to the police station.I think I have had enough, “Been abused mentally and for way too long and I have had enough.”

The rise in death threats against public figures is concerning. Mariam Akande Muftaudeen, a Yoruba actress, recently sought help for a similar threat to her life, recounting a narrow escape from death with her daughter last year.

In a message to Nigerians, she stated that she is prepared to speak out and conduct interviews because she has evidence, videos, and voice notes.

Mariam revealed, without going into detail, that unknown individuals had vandalised her car and phones, actively pursuing her and her daughter’s safety.
