The Nigerian musician Davido has promised to donate 300,000,000 naira (around three hundred million) a year to orphanages throughout his country.

This afternoon on X, the singer made this announcement.

“My foundation and I promise to donate 300 million Naira to orphanages throughout Nigeria.” as my annual gift to the country… specifics of payment tomorrow,” he wrote.
