The terrible death of their breadwinner at the hands of a deadly “German Dog” in Ilorin has devastated the entire family of Engr Mohammed Faworaja, a guy in his 30s.
According to reports, the young engineer took over operating the family business from his father, who had just retired, and gave it to him.
According to reliable sources, the Dog viciously pursued Engr. Faworaja last weekend as he was out and about in the Asa Dam Warah/Osin region of the capital of Kwara State.
He was reported to have fallen violently and hard struck his chest on an electric pole while desperately rushing away from the dog, scattering the groceries he had been attempting to buy from the supermarket.
Propolitics had reliable information that those who saw the unfortunate event instantly chased the dog away and brought the victim to the adjacent private hospital.
He died of internal bleeding shortly after being transported to the hospital, according to a trustworthy source in the region.
Blogger Hashim Ibrahim Bolaji tweeted the first tweet.
Another source who craved anonymity said “The dog, a German shepherd, got loose, and chased the deceased who hit his chest on an electric pole. He died of internal bleeding and the sardine he went to buy Was seen beside the pole.
“He’s a very friendly man and cannot be more than 33 years of age and was the breadwinner of the family. But the police have been involved in the matter.
“You need to hear the dad speak during one of the prayers organized for him, having retired and handling everything to him. The family is really devastated”, the source added.
Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Ajayi Okasanmi (SP) confirmed the incident.
“The owner of the dog has been arrested and the matter is being investigated”, the police spokesman added.
