When Liverpool plays Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday, manager Jurgen Klopp has disclosed that Darwin Nunez might not be available.
Speaking to the media today, Klopp stated that Nunez’s foot injury happened during their 4-1 victory over Chelsea in the middle of the week.
The Uruguayan striker is uncertain for the match at the top of the table after leaving Anfield wearing a protective boot.
“I’m not sure whether Darwin is available. It hurt when someone trod on his foot after 20 minutes [against Chelsea].
He didn’t leave the stadium in a football boot.
All was well, X-ray clear. Klopp remarked, “But we have to see if he can get it back in a football boot.”
