Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State says food security will keep on being vital to reduce the expense of food items in the state.
He gave the affirmation on Sunday in Lagos during the 2023 Lagos Food Celebration at Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island.
The Governor was addressed by his appointee, Dr Obafemi Hamzat.
The celebration’s topic for 2023 was “A Combination of Flavors.”
He expressed that his organization would stay focused on fostering the farming business.
As per Sanwo-Olu, the area has seen different endeavors and is noticeably highlighted in the state’s Topics Plan.
He was satisfied with the huge turnout at the occasion, saying it addressed the genuine soul of Lagos.
The Lagos Food Celebration, as per the lead representative, exhibits thriving, creativity, advancement, and the soul of Lagos to youngsters.
As per him, the food celebration gives a gathering to Little and Medium Endeavors in horticulture and food to advance their items and organization.
“The occasion is about youngsters for the most part showing their gifts and bringing in cash so we can’t be a general public simply sitting and grumbling.
“We can see this multitude of youngsters here today; they are doing different things, so they are searching internally to say how we can add esteem and find success.
“That is the very thing that I see here, flourishing, resourcefulness, advancement, and the soul of Lagos,” he said.
