FRSC Deploys Over 900 Personnel for Easter in Ogun

To guarantee a trouble-free Easter, the Ogun State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, or FRSC, would send out more than 900 troops for a special patrol during this time.

The promise was provided by Sector Commander Mr. Anthony Uga during a Tuesday interview in Ota, Ogun, with reporters.

He stated that the special patrol would start on March 29 and terminate on April 2.

He continued by saying that for the drill, both normal and special marshals had been sent out.

He declared that the marshals will deal with traffic jams, auto breakdowns, and fast emergency response, particularly in the case of an accident.

According to the sector commander, ambulances, patrol cars, and tow trucks have all been sent out to respond quickly to crises.

According to Uga, the existence of the impact of personnel would be felt on several expressways, including the Lagos-Ibadan, Benin-Ore, Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode, Abeokuta-Ibadan, Abeokuta-Lagos, and Ota-Idiroko roads.

He said, “Since speed has been a major contributing factor in road crashes, we are pleading with drivers to strictly abide by traffic laws and regulations and to slow down.”

He gave advice not to drive against traffic or make illegal overtakes.
