Following Manchester City’s 4-4 draw with Chelsea on Sunday, Pep Guardiola singled out three Chelsea players: Raheem Sterling, Conor Gallagher, and Cole Palmer.
Thiago Silva, Raheem Sterling, Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer, Erling Haaland (2), Rodri, and Manuel Akanji Rodri all scored to give both teams a draw at Stamford Bridge.
Guardiola stated in his post-game news conference that Sterling, Palmer, and Gallagher can run the opponent to defend.
“I think no but when you pass the ball to Raheem, Cole, or Gallagher and they can run, you defend in the box,” Guardiola was quoted as saying.
