General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defense Staff, has urged religious authorities to work together so that the country can quickly overcome the difficulties roiling it.
During the Nigerian Military Christian Fellowship’s (NMCF) 40th anniversary ceremony in Abuja, General Musa made the call while serving as the organization’s Special Guest of Honor.
In order to make Nigeria a safer place for everyone, the military chief emphasized that people and religious leaders must cooperate with the security forces.
His Royal Majesty, retired Air Commodore Ishaku Komo, the fellowship’s founder, stated that during the organization’s 40 years of existence, it has helped personnel grow spiritually so they are fit to serve God and their country.
The event’s host, The Nigerian Military Christian Fellowship has an established chaplaincy in the military as a result of the fellowship’s actions, according to retired Air Vice Marshal Christian Tsaro Dii, National President of the organization.
The fellowship leader went on to say that he was optimistic about the NMCF’s future, citing the younger staff and cadets involved as signs of success.
