As the former National President of the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE), Balami held this influential position for eight years, where he championed the interests of aviation professionals and fostered a culture of mentorship and responsibility. 

He recently made waves by switching from the Labour Party (LP) and rejoining the All Progressives Congress (APC).
