The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has given his delegate, Philip Shaibu the thumbs up to challenge for the state governorship in 2024.
He said Shaibu has the sacred right to compete for the situation in the state, adding that no one has the option to put him down.
The lead representative expressed this on Thursday, November 30, 2023, while tending to columnists following his shut entryway meeting with the Legislative head of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed.
Prior in the week, Shaibu, in spite of the waiting erosion among him and his chief announced his aim to challenge for governorship in Edo State.
