Governorship aspirants of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo State, have raised the alert over political viciousness in the state in front of the following month’s essential political decision in the party.
Talking for the benefit of the hopefuls, the previous money magistrate in the state, Ridge Akinterinwa, said his allies and those of other governorship applicants were gone after by hooligans supposedly supported by individuals in government.
Segun Ajiboye, a representative to Akinterinwa, gave an assertion saying, “The hooligans, who shamelessly discharged shots very high to create turmoil, went on an obliteration binge as they went after property, while bulletins of other gubernatorial hopefuls were mutilated, pull down or out properly obliterated.
“Party individuals saw to be faithful to all gubernatorial hopefuls barring Lead representative Fortunate Ayedatiwa, supported differed and different levels of wounds coming about because of the assaults released on them. Shirts and face covers worn by individuals from the designated competitors were destroyed.
“The hooligans who did the arranged assaults were outfitted with a wide range of perilous weapons, it is miserable to take note of that a large number of our allies with profound cuts are in the medical clinic getting therapy right now.
“It is anyway amazing that no hopeful other than the lead representative was saved of the assaults.”
