Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has nominated 34 people to serve as Chairmen and Deputy Chairmen of the state’s 17 local governments.

David Ogba and John Udeagbala are the nominees for the LGAs of Ohafia and Aba North, respectively.

The Governor has forwarded the names of the candidates to the Abia State House of Assembly for screening and approval, according to a statement signed by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Uzo Nwachukwu.
