President Bola Tinubu’s request for a meeting to talk business has finally been accepted by Qatar, According to earlier reports, Tinubu’s planned visit to Qatar for business negotiations had been rejected.
A representative for Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Francisca Omayuli, did, however, confirm that the president will travel to Qatar on March 2 and 3, 2024.
Regarding whether Qatar turned down a meeting with President Tinubu, she remained silent.
However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was notified by the Qatari government in a statement on Sunday that the business conference scheduled for March 3, 2024, will be held by the Qatar Chamber of Commerce.
“The State of Qatar’s Embassy in Abuja extends its gratitude to the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Protocol Department Nigeria,” it stated.

The State of Qatar Embassy is pleased to announce that, in accordance with the Nigerian side’s proposal, the event in question will take place on March 3, 2024, at the Qatar Chamber of Commerce.
