When Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze returned to Italy from the African Cup of Nations on Wednesday, the AC Milan players and coaches gave him a warm welcome.

The moment Chukwueze arrived at the club’s training ground and was welcomed by his colleagues, including Portuguese sensation Rafael Leao, was documented in a video posted on the team’s Instagram account.

Chukwueze played in the Coppa Italia against Cagliari before departing Milan on January 2 for his international assignment.

The 24-year-old played in five of Nigeria’s seven matches during the AFCON competition.

After losing to Ivory Coast 2–1 in the AFCON final, Nigeria’s Super Eagles had to settle for the silver medal.
