Three die in Bayelsa auto crash

On Friday, a Mercedes Benz jeep drove into a commercial tricycle, commonly known as a Keke, at the Zarama Market on the East-West Road in Bayelsa State, causing three people to be crushed to death.

The victims, who comprised a man and two girls, had their bodies transported to a morgue.

One individual was found alive and is reportedly at a hospital that won’t reveal its location in a critical condition.

According to reports, a Mercedes Benz jeep with the license plate SAG 420 JP collided tragically with a Keke with the license plate KMT 346 VP, killing three people instantly and injuring another.

According to reports, the car’s driver fled the site of the collision out of fear of being pursued by shoppers.

According to reports, the event incited resentment among vendors and customers at the weekly market, which is held every Friday.

Asinim Butswat, the police public relations officer for the Bayelsa Command, verified the occurrence.
